My buddy and I have built this site as a tool for anyone who loves music as we do. Having been involved in music performance & production for several years, I humbly consider myself a -jack of all trades (master of none) musician/producer. My experience within the recording studio has given me knowledge and experience on a number of subjects. I've supplemented this - hands on education with various college courses on (audio/midi)
music composition & production. These experiences have given me a better technical understanding for what's really going on in the recording process, in addition to techniques I've developed through trial and error.
My education has come from a number of people and places to which I am indebted. Posting this information in one consolidated place, along with other tools I've found to be useful, audiomecca.com offers credible knowledge on the recording studio to add to the online resource population. I hope this site will be helpful for those interested in learning about the aspects of recording, understanding key concepts of music production, and how to choose the gear you need to best suit your needs.
